We are seeking a technically adept and task-oriented individual who will be, along with a team, responsible for technical support, while solving issues that relate to EnvisionWare products and services, all while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Purpose of the Hardware Support Technician Role
Provide level 2 Hardware support for a range of Library hardware solutions.
Essential Job Functions:
- Review Level 1 troubleshooting
- Work directly with library staff and other technicians to isolate failure using hands on tools and remote software
- Plan and coordinate shipment of replacement parts
- Provide timely updates to the customer case record and communicate clearly and effectively internally and externally to final resolution
- Create knowledge base articles for common failures in an effort to strengthen Level 1 support
- Assisting with new product staging and quality assurance initiatives during slow times

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with hardware support
- Experience or knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system
