A Bit About Mike
Hometown:
Born and raised in his current hometown of Holland, OH and lives near his mother (88 years old) and one brother and his family.
Family:
Married with 3 children ages 22, 26, 28. Oldest lives in NYC and the younger ones are currently still in the Toledo, Ohio area.
Enjoys:
Sports, Daily Work Outs, Boating and Fishing on Lake Erie, reading and music.
Can Be Found:
Hosting karaoke events and playing with some old high school classmates in an acoustic electric band – Hear Now.
Co-Founded:
Midwest Tape Book Club — a group of associates who would select a book and meet quarterly.
Sports Trivia:
Back in his collegiate days, Mike played baseball at Xavier University in Cincinnati Ohio (1979) and The University of Toledo (1981 -1983).
Welcome Mike Marciniak!
Please join us in welcoming Michael Marciniak to the EnvisionWare team! A veteran of the library industry, many of you might know Mike from his recent role with Midwest Tape, where he assisted libraries across the United States with their AV and digital collection development initiatives.
Mike joins EnvisionWare as a sales representative for self-service solutions in the Northeast, working closely with his counterpart in circulation solutions, Jake Young. “As libraries continue to navigate the pandemic, EnvisionWare’s self-service solutions are essential to helping libraries to stay connected with their communities and patrons,” said Mike. “It’s an exciting time to join EnvisionWare and work strategically with our customers.”
When not focused on work, Mike stays busy with family and friends. Mike is an avid boater in the summer months and is fortunate to call Baypoint Marina in Marblehead, OH his weekend summer escape for the past 21 years.
