Technology and Distribution Centers

EnvisionWare’s Columbus Technology Center (CTC) in Ohio has a new neighbor! We recently moved our Distribution Center from Atlanta to Columbus to streamline distribution from a central location within the United States and bring the technology and R&D teams closer together.

The new 16,000 sq. ft. facility stores over $2M in inventory and over 4,000 SKUs, enabling EnvisionWare to respond rapidly to deliver replacement parts. The technical teams also have everything they need on-hand to assemble new products for distribution, and the warehouse has a large staging area for big systems, including the 24-Hour Library.

Having the Distribution Center in Columbus provides easy access for the CTC team to troubleshoot and test new products. The new location also provides more opportunity for direct communication among the R&D and technical teams. The CTC is home to EnvisionWare’s Chief Architect and Director of Development, along with the core development team. The Distribution Center is home to EnvisionWare’s technicians and head of distribution.

While Atlanta remains the company’s headquarters, the Columbus hub was established to make development and distribution as efficient, effective and responsive as possible for our customers as the product line and customer base continues to grow.
