Sue Cashmark
When Northeast Sales Consultant John Lytle announced his retirement this Fall, EnvisionWare had some big shoes to fill. Fortunately, library industry veteran Sue Cashmark was excited to bring her love of libraries and years of sales experience to EnvisionWare.
Before joining the EnvisionWare team, Sue was a national sales representative for Scannx, where she worked with public and academic libraries. “Since I worked with libraries across the United States, most of my prior job was conducted over the phone from my home office,” said Sue. “With this new role, I’m looking forward to getting out and meeting customers and experiencing their libraries firsthand.”
When she’s not working with libraries, Sue and her husband are busy raising their 3-year-old grandson and taking care of a small menagerie, which includes dogs, cats, chickens and two giant tortoises (weighing upwards of 70 pounds!). She also has a unique background in restoring 16th century Japanese armor.
Originally from the UK, Sue came to the United States for her junior year abroad and returned after graduation. She acted in and produced some short films in California before discovering how much she enjoys sales and working in the library industry. “Based on the nature of the job, I find that librarians and people who work in libraries are often interesting, intelligent and thoughtful people,” said Sue. “I’m looking forward to getting to know our customers in the Northeast and building long-term relationships.”
