Atlanta, GA, August 26, 2014 – EnvisionWare, a leading provider of self service and library efficiency solutions, announced that Jericho Public Library in New York has migrated to EnvisionWare for RFID from Bibliotheca. The library has also installed EnvisionWare’s Library Document Station™ and MobilePrint Service™ for digitizing and printing services.
Prior to the migration, Jericho was an EnvisionWare PC Reservation® and LPT:One™ customer for computer and print management, as well as an EnvisionWare eCommerce customer. Impressed with EnvisionWare’s reliability and service, Jericho made the decision to migrate from their existing RFID vendor to EnvisionWare, selecting EnvisionWare’s OneStop™ self service interface with the EnvisionWare® RFID Software Suite™. With OneStop, Jericho’s patrons have a single interface for self check out, computer booking, print release, self service fine payment, account management and more.
The library also made the decision to integrate their print management services and expand their digital and mobile services with the Library Document Station for digitizing and printing and EnvisionWare’s new MobilePrint Service for printing on-the-go from mobile devices and personal computers.
“Our partnership with EnvisionWare, which was advocated and strongly supported by Library Director Barbara Kessler, enables us to fully integrate self service throughout the library,” said Jericho Library IT Administrator Carlos Munozospina. “This approach makes it easier for patrons to use these services. It’s also much more efficient for staff to have a single vendor to rely on for installation, service and support.”.
