Atlanta, GA, January 30, 2012 - EnvisionWare, a leading provider of self-service and library-efficiency solutions, announced today that New Orleans Public Library selected EnvisionWare as their RFID provider. The RFID implementation is an expansion of their existing EnvisionWare services, which include EnvisionWare’s computer and print management solutions, PC Reservation®, and LPT:One™.
The RFID project is part of an overall rebuilding effort for the library. Two-thirds of the branches were destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and many are in the final stages of construction. The installation includes RFID gates, EnvisionWare Branch Manager™, and EnvisionWare’s OneStop™ self-checkout system.
